Sitting For Long Periods Can Be Harmful

Staying seated for periods of 30 minutes or more can be harmful to your health. A study from the Annals of Internal Medicine found that, people who sat or lived an inactive lifestyle for more then 12 hours a day, for 30 minutes at a time had an increase in the risk for early death.

People who sat for less then 30 minutes at a time had a lower risk of early death.
